TECHNICAL FIRE AND BUILDING SAFETY MANAGER - SCOTTISH EVENT CAMPUS

As a Technical Fire and Building Safety Manager, you will be responsible for working as part of the Health & Safety Team to help deliver the following:
- Lead on the development and implementation of fire and building safety strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Act as the organisation’s subject matter expert on fire and building safety legislation, including the Fire (Scotland) Act, Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations, Building (Scotland) Act and Building (Scotland) Regulations.
- Support and advise on the delivery and monitoring of fire safety works and building works for normal operations and site-specific projects.
- Establish and maintain up-to-date digital records and documentation to demonstrate compliance as it relates to fire safety and building regulations.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent understanding of fire safety systems and building regulations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and reports.
- Experience in managing compliance systems and databases.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to safety culture.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- HND in any of the following subject maters such as Fire Engineering, Construction Management, Building Surveying etc.
- Demonstrable experience managing fire and building safety in complex buildings.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance to include Non Domestic Technical Standards, British Standards, Building Safety Standards and Fire Safety Standards.
