The UK hosted the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) at the Scottish Event Campus on 31 October - 12 November 2021.

The COP26 summit brought parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

This was a significant and important event for Glasgow, Scotland and the UK at a crucial time for governments across the world. The SEC is honoured to have been the location for this globally significant conference.

Legacy for global events industry

The SEC is proud to have played a central role in the organising task force to establish the JMIC / UNFCCC initiative and industry pledge.
