Beyond Glasgow lies a country of spectacular scenery, rousing traditions and high-octane activities.

Within 40 minutes’ drive of Glasgow is beautiful Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, featuring 720 square miles of terrain that is perfect for walking, cycling and boating, or just to kick back and relax.

Our coastline is equally stunning, with the East Neuk of Fife, Sutherland and the islands of Arran, Mull, Lewis and Harris among thousands of picture postcard spots.

There’s also a feast of fantastic attractions. From historic houses and world-class museums; awesome art galleries and quirky cultural centres there’s something for everyone across twelve regions, the Outer Hebrides, Orkney and Shetland.

As you would expect from the home of golf, golf courses abound in Scotland. It takes careful planning to play the championship courses of Carnoustie, Gleneagles, Muirfield, St. Andrews, Troon or Turnberry, but there are hundreds of municipal and club courses that also welcome visitors.

Scottish hospitality is legendary and much in evidence at a fantastic range of cafés, bars and restaurants serving international, British and, of course, Scottish cuisine. Not forgetting thousands of Scotch whisky blends and more than 100 single malts!
