ELECTRICIAN - SCOTTISH EVENT CAMPUS  

Comprising the SEC Centre, SEC Armadillo and the OVO Hydro, the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) is Scotland's premier venue for events, gigs, conferences, and exhibitions. We enjoy an enviable reputation as one of Europe’s most prestigious venues with the OVO Hydro consistently ranked in the top 3 busiest venues in the world, attracting over 2 million visitors per year.

 

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for working as part of the Facilities Team to help deliver the following:

 

  • Conduct maintenance, repair and installation work on all electrical distribution systems and equipment.
  • Provide the installation of temporary electrical mains for exhibitions, conferences, concerts and other events within the SEC.
  • Ensure the maintenance and repair of all switchgear, cables etc used in the provision of temporary electrical mains. 
  • Conduct the testing and inspection of electrical installations on exhibition stands and similar installations.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Valid ECS card, 18th Edition, 2391 (testing credentials).
  • PS7909 – preferred qualifications
