Comprising the SEC Centre, SEC Armadillo and the OVO Hydro, the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) is Scotland's premier venue for events, gigs, conferences, and exhibitions. We enjoy an enviable reputation as one of Europe’s most prestigious venues with the OVO Hydro consistently ranked in the top 3 busiest venues in the world, attracting over 2 million visitors per year.

 

The Hospitality Host will be responsible for working in the Hospitality Team to help deliver the following:

 

  • Ensuring that all Premium Lounges & Suites are prepared for guest arrival
  • Managing of the Hydro Club Reception Desk and Hospitality areas on event nights
  • Welcoming and registering Hospitality Guests and providing any assistance or information required to enhance their experience at The OVO Hydro
  • Liaising with venue stakeholders to ensure the operation runs smoothly throughout the event

Our ideal candidate

 

Our Hospitality Team work closely in a busy environment, ensuring that all expectations are exceeded and providing the highest quality service to each event.  Our desirable qualities include:

 

  • Ability to provide a friendly welcome and great customer service
  • Well-presented and passionate about Live Events and our venue
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Good availability and flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as required

This role requires the post-holder to be aged 18+ due to legal requirements.

 

We are looking for a hands-on, passionate and flexible individual, with strong communication skills. You should be confident working with clients and skilled in multi-tasking, with a dedicated and enthusiastic attitude. Event industry experience with a proven track record of results is desirable.

 

Alongside the ability to work effectively as part of a team, you should share our passion for providing an excellent customer experience, acting as a role model, and setting an example for the team and wider business.
