At the SEC, we’re always looking for ways to make your experience even better. While we continue to keep safety and security our top priority, we're introducing new security screening technology to help make entry smoother and more seamless. Check the information below on how it works, so you can spend the minimum time waiting and the maximum time enjoying your visit.

Evolv Express is a contactless security screening solution that highlights threat items, while ignoring harmless personal items, as you walk through at a natural pace.

How does it work?

1. Follow instructions from our team
2. Keep all personal belongings with you during the screening process
3. Simply Walk through the screening system; there's no need to stop unless directed to by security
4. Have your ticket ready for scanning

If you have a medical condition that may limit certain security procedures, or use a wearable or implanted medical device, please inform staff as you approach and they will provide an alternative screening method.

Outside food and drinks are generally not permitted.

For this event, small non-carbonated drinks and food for children will be permitted. Please ensure all drinks and food for children are in sealed packaging (baby and toddler bottles/cups are permitted).

I have a medical condition; can I take a drink in a bottle into the venue?

Items required for medical purposes are permitted but must be sealed and declared to stewards on entry. Bottles must be no bigger than 500ml and will be validated by Venue Management. Any items that do not comply with venue policies will not be permitted into the venue. Please note; a maximum of 2 bottles are permitted per customer. In addition, glass and cans are not permitted.

Tap water is available for free, on request, from all food and beverage units.

Temperature - to maintain the ice rink, the arena will be slight cooler than the outside temperature.

Dress Code - The event organiser politely requests that costumes are worn by under 14s only, to avoid any confusion and disappointment.

Car Parking - The main car park is the multi-storey at Stobcross Road, G3 8GS. Due to the cross over of performances for this event, delays when exiting are expected. More information on alternative transport options is available here.

Dropping off/Picking up - Our designated Drop-off/Pick-up zone (better known to us as DOPU) is located at the west of the SEC Centre. Plan in advance and enjoy a stress-free drop-off/pick-up, more information available here.
