The OVO Hydro has transformed live music and events in Glasgow and Scotland.
Having a purpose built, live entertainment arena has had a substantial effect on the calibre and profile of artists and events that we can now attract and deliver. In recent years, we have welcomed such acts as Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, U2 and Adele. Consistently ranked in the world’s top 10 busiest arenas by Pollstar, we are the venue of choice in Scotland.
With a maximum capacity of 14,300, the arena is both flexible in space and configuration, enabling us to stage a huge variety of productions. Since opening in 2013, we have received over 1 million visitors annually.
Our campus location, accessibility and capacity options are a positive influence in attracting and securing a Scottish date on a UK arena tour.
The 3,000 capacity SEC Armadillo is well established as a live music venue in the city. In recent years Little Mix, Pet Shop Boys, Paloma Faith, Will Young, Josh Groban and Jools Holland have all performed here.
The variety of venue space also allows us to support new talent, contributing to an artist’s journey from the start.
