THE world's top darts players will return to The SSE Hydro for the 2018 Unibet Premier League on Thursday March 22, with tickets for the hugely popular event set to go on sale this week.
The SSE Hydro has become a firm favourite for Scottish darts fans since the tournament's first visit to the Glasgow venue in 2014, following its previous success at the SECC.
Next year's event - set to feature Scottish duo Gary Anderson and Peter Wright as well as World Champion Michael van Gerwen - will see five league games take place on Thursday March 22 in the eighth league night of the season.
The field of players will be confirmed in January, with the top four players in the PDC Order of Merit joined by six Wildcard selections.
In conjunction with PDC we would ask you to note the following information for your safety and enjoyment of the event:
Responsible Drinking: drinks are limited to a maximum of 4 drinks per person, per visit to the bar. Bars will close before the final match at approximately 21:30.
Dress Code: domestic football colours are not permitted (international football colours and rugby tops are permitted). Fancy dress is permitted (without accessories) but costumes and masks of controversial characters are not.
Photography: professional photography and audio/video recording equipment is not permitted.
No Smoking/Vaping Internally: strictly no smoking or vaping in the venue. External smoking areas are available.
Appropriate Behaviour: the venue has a zero tolerance policy on violence and abusive language. The following behaviours are also considered inappropriate:
Drunken or intoxicated behaviour;
Removal of clothing and displaying of bare flesh;
Abusive or racial chanting or singing.
Whistling, shouting, chanting and group singing;
Throwing objects of any kind and launching paper airplanes;
Writing obscenities, controversial messages and football slogans on the 180 cards;
Flash photography whilst matches are in play;
Standing on seats or tables;
Prohibited Items: security searching is in operation and the following items are not permitted:
Alcohol not purchased in the venue;
Darts (real or pretend), balloons and inflatables, whistles, air horns, party poppers, spray/silly string, snappits/Glo Sticks;
Flagpoles and corrugated or solid signage of any types.
SEC Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry to or eject any visitor who breaches any of the above conditions, in line with the conditions of sale of tickets for the event and in conjunction with PDC.
