QD Events core business is about creating live retail experiences where businesses and consumers can make informed choices in an informal and enjoyable environment. This ranges from conference led events, where influencers can extend their knowledge and business contacts within a particular sector, to large-scale consumer events, where dealers and retailers can meet qualified shoppers within a fun and exciting environment.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and ambitious Sponsorship Manager who will take responsibility for strategically growing revenue streams and generating sales through sponsorship across all QD Events initiatives.
The Sponsorship Manager will ensure that revenue targets are exceeded through effective business development. They will also source sponsorship partners who add value to the events through both commercial investment and their wider marketing reach and relevant brand association. This role will involve strong collaboration with the marketing and the sales teams.
The successful candidate should be a confident, passionate and flexible individual who ideally has knowledge and experience in the sales industry.
The ideal candidate will Producing quality proposals and contracts to aid the sales process, providing innovative solutions based upon a deep understanding of product offering They should also be able to evidence the ability to work within a successful team in a busy working environment.
The candidate should be able to provide evidence that they have a proven track record for delivering results and have a working knowledge of the industry. They should also have the ability to work together with the show teams to develop and manage existing sponsors and event specific partners, identifying and converting opportunities to cross/up-sell.
