QD Events core business is about creating live retail experiences where businesses and consumers can make informed choices in an informal and enjoyable environment. This ranges from conference led events, where influencers can extend their knowledge and business contacts within a particular sector, to large-scale consumer events, where dealers and retailers can meet qualified shoppers within a fun and exciting environment.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and ambitious Social Media Executive who will be responsible for our digital marketing provision. 

They will be responsible for leading the development of the social media strategy for the company and ensure that it is deployed across the various digital channels for the business. They will also be required to  manage the creation and publishing of relevant, high quality content across all platforms.

The Social Media Executive will need to work with the commercial teams to identify and deliver content for their shows which may include collateral delivery, internal documentation and award entries. 
To monitor the social media KPl’s and provide monthly updates on the performance to your line manager.

The successful candidate should be a confident, passionate and flexible individual who ideally has knowledge and experience within the digital marketing industry. 

The ideal candidate should also be confident in writing and delivering high quality content and be a clear communicator. They should also be able to evidence the ability to work within a successful team in a busy working environment.

The candidate should be able to provide evidence that they have a proven track record for delivering results. They should also have the ability to build strong long-lasting relationships with all team members within the company. In addition, the ability to communicate clearly and concisely is essential for the role.
