We are looking to appoint a Health, Safety and Fire Prevention Manager to join our existing team, committed in supporting the variety of workplace safety, fire prevention and security requirements. This appointment will assume a significant responsibility for Fire Safety.

 

We offer an enjoyable mix of auditing, opportunities to create of new “ways of working” procedures, coaching, training and supporting our colleagues towards maintaining our legal compliance, best practice and positive culture.

 

Our safety team are responsible for the safe and secure delivery of global renowned exhibitions, conferences and “live” events.

 

The successful candidate will be under the direction and receive support from our Head of Health, Safety and Security.

 

We are looking for candidates who offer a work style including approachability, an engaging team player, excellent communication skills and the ability to self-manage when required.

 

Candidates must have an excellent workplace safety and fire prevention knowledge base, and must be able to offer SEC Campus the following attributes:

 

Qualifications

 

  •  NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety Management
  • Chartered IOSH
  • ISO 9001 and 45001 experience

 

Work Experience

 

  • A strong knowledge towards fire safety legal and best practice requirements
  • Delivery of engaging training courses
  • Preparation of legal compliance “working practice” procedures
  • 3 to 5 years post-qualified experience
  • Experience in managing all aspects for fire safety in large venues is essential
  • Adept using MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet.
