QD Events deliver some of Scotland’s biggest events, creating live retail experiences for our visitors. Our portfolio ranges from conference led events, where influencers can extend their knowledge and business contacts, to large-scale consumer events, where dealers and retailers can meet qualified shoppers within a fun and exciting environment.
We are looking for an experienced Operations Executive who will support the operations team to organise and deliver seamless exhibitions, events and meetings. The role will be working across all events in the portfolio so adaptability and the ability to work in a fast paced environment is imperative.
The Operations Executive must have knowledge and experience within the events industry, be self-motivated to achieve deadlines whilst using own initiative with ability to build long lasting relationships with suppliers, contractors and exhibitors as well as the wider QD & SEC teams.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for events, confident working with clients face to face and on the phone, skilled in multi-tasking and be hands on with dedication and enthusiasm to ensure the best quality and service is given to each event.
The candidate must be organised and methodical, able to communicate clearly and concisely and able to take responsibility. Great attention to detail, problem solving and having the ability to manage their time effectively are all essential requirements for the role.
A proven track record of organising events within the live events, conference or exhibition industry is essential, candidates without any relevant experience will not be considered. You will be expected to work some weekends / public holidays on live events.
